EAZIX: Almost finished documentation
We had free pizza at work earlier today. It resulted to "every geek for him/herself" kind of chaos. With everyone running amok shouting "free pizza!
free pizza! ...". Well, not really, but nobody passed up the free treat.
I'm still documenting what i've done for the past week, and preparing for a
presentation of what we did. Frankly, i'm quite nervous about it. I mean, i
really understand what i did, but it's quite hard to say it in
non-technical terms, which is probably what they expect.
In addition to that, i also helped out in installing the improved drivers
for some usb devices, which was somehow out of my league (not to mention
out of my job list), but i learned it anyway. We still have some problems
with it, which we'll have to fix tomorrow. This might be justified by the
not too old saying: "Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow.
That is, if you'll find a better way of doing it."
Also, we installed the drivers as modules and not built in to the kernel,
"Never put off till tomorrow what you can avoid all together." - by doing
this, we've avoided the (what might have been) several hours of
compilation. In fact, this is even better, as an error would be tolerably
easy to repair.
